Terms of Use

1. General

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Dueful mobile app and related website materials ("Dueful"). By downloading or using Dueful, you agree to these Terms. The contract language is English.

2. What Dueful does

  • Lets you create and manage recurring life tasks.
  • Shows what is due, upcoming, or overdue.
  • Stores completion history so you can see when something was last done.
  • Can schedule local reminders and provide home-screen widgets.

3. Accounts and availability

  • Dueful does not require a traditional account to use its core features.
  • We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time to improve the app or keep it maintainable.
  • Some features depend on iOS capabilities such as notifications, widgets, or App Store purchase infrastructure.

4. User responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the task data you enter and for reviewing reminder schedules that matter to you.
  • You are responsible for keeping your device secure and backed up if you care about preserving local task history.
  • You agree not to misuse Dueful, interfere with the app, or attempt unauthorized access to paid features or related services.

5. Reminders and accuracy

  • Dueful is a helpful reminder tool, not a guarantee that something will never be forgotten.
  • Reminder delivery can depend on iOS settings, notification permissions, focus modes, battery conditions, and other system behavior outside our control.
  • You should not rely on Dueful as the sole reminder system for urgent, medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical obligations.

6. Paid features

  • Dueful may offer optional in-app purchases, including auto-renewing subscriptions and non-consumable purchases.
  • Pricing, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms that apply to your account.
  • You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.

7. Intellectual property

Dueful, its design, branding, screenshots, and related materials remain our property except for content you create and store for your own use inside the app.

8. Termination

You may stop using Dueful at any time by deleting the app. We may limit or terminate access to paid or hosted functionality if these Terms are violated or if the service needs to be retired.

9. Liability

  • Dueful is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
  • We are not responsible for missed reminders, lost local data, App Store outages, or operating-system behavior outside our control.

10. Privacy

Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how technical data and app data are handled.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Dueful after updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised version.
