Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 2, 2026

Dueful ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Dueful mobile app. This Privacy Policy explains what data the app stores, what technical data we receive, and what choices you have.

What Dueful stores

Task data on your device

  • Dueful stores the recurring tasks you create on your device.
  • This can include task names, selected icons, recurrence rules, completion history, and optional notes you add to completion records.
  • Dueful does not require a user account and does not sync your task list to our own servers.

Widget and app-group data

  • If you use the Dueful widget, the app shares the minimum local task data needed for the widget to show due items.
  • This sharing happens locally on your device through Apple's app-group mechanisms.

Notifications

  • If you enable reminders, Dueful schedules local notifications on your device.
  • Notification content can include the task title you created so iOS can show the reminder on your lock screen or notification center.

Analytics and diagnostics

  • Dueful uses Firebase Analytics to understand general app usage, such as which screens or features are opened.
  • Dueful uses Firebase crash logging and diagnostics to detect failures and improve reliability.
  • These services may receive device, app version, language, operating system, and similar technical information.
  • We do not sell your data and we do not run third-party ads inside Dueful.

Payments

  • Optional in-app purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store.
  • We do not receive your full payment card details.

How we use information

  • To make the app work, including storing recurring tasks, showing history, and scheduling reminders.
  • To power widgets and related local app features.
  • To measure product usage in aggregate and improve the app.
  • To investigate crashes, stability issues, and abuse of paid features if necessary.

Data retention and control

  • Your recurring task data stays on your device unless Apple includes it in device backups under your Apple settings.
  • You can delete task data from inside the app or remove the app from your device.
  • If you disable notifications, future reminder delivery stops at the operating-system level.

Third-party services

Dueful relies on Apple's iOS platform and uses Firebase services for analytics and diagnostics. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Children's privacy

Dueful is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Dueful account system because Dueful does not require accounts.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page.
